My article was merely intending to promote the video of Lionel Shriver. I think I made it clear that I don't think anything can be done now, or for that matter in the next four years. My comment was an appeal (probably pointless) to the American public to create a better future. It's certainly a valid point of view that "the people get the leadership they deserve." If that is true, what this means is that the consciousness of the American people is in serious need of a raise.
