Yes, but what that account fails to say is that people tend to receive visions which accord with the culture they are brought up in. Thus a Hindu might be rescued by a vision of Krishna, a Buddhist may have a vision of a Bodhisattva, a Native American may be rescued by one of their spiritual figures, and so on. This is not universally true, but a general trend.

Howard Storm did what he felt appropriate and what was necessary under the circumstances. I'm obviously pleased for him; it's always a good thing when atheists experience something which persuades them to change their mind. People with Christian beliefs can certainly be a force for good in the world.
