When you talk about an “intelligence inherent in the evolutionary process itself”, it's all very well giving many examples of why this must be true, but you should perhaps give some explanation as to how this can have come about, given that matter was originally supposed to have been inorganic.
You may perhaps have done this in your book, and will say more in future articles. It seems, however, that you are advocating intelligent design, except that you are saying that nature is doing this itself. An intelligence outside the evolutionary process may be a simpler, or 'parsimonious' as philosophers say, explanation.
