Very interesting. However, according to the translation and interpretation I'm discussing, it cannot be sleep in the usual sense, since Adam is not yet in a body, not yet human. It is referring to sleep (or some equivalent of it) at a higher spiritual level of being. What exactly what that might be, I'm not sure.
