The idea that “Dawkins though he doesn’t know it is mostly a Christian” reminded me of a book about Freud who was of course as much an atheist and anti-religion as Dawkins. It's by the psychoanalyst Paul Vitz and called Sigmund Freud's Christian Unconscious, and is a brilliant explanation of what was apparently going on in his unconscious mind. Freud was apparently unwilling to analyse himself, despite being the founder of Psychoanalysis.
