I would say that quantum physics has been demonstrated experimentally, even if there are different interpretations of the results. That isn't true of string theory or the multiverse, which remain speculative hypotheses.

On your next point, it all depends on what you understand by Spirit and its 'radiance'. I obviously don't know which spiritual belief-system you subscribe to. It sounds as though you are going in the direction of theism, but I'm not sure. The Zero Point Field does sound something like the impersonal Brahman of Hinduism, the impersonal Ayin of Kabbalism, and the 'void' of various creation myths. Perhaps the ultimate reality is 'cold', to use your word, and a thing rather than a Being. Any radiance may emerge at a lower level of manifestation.
