Thanks for your response.

When I say "It is certainly not okay to say that spirituality is true because of quantum physics ", I am trying to be as cautious as possible, and not attract any more critics than necessary.

Spirituality covers an awful lot of material. As I said in the article, quantum physics can say nothing about the precise details, but does seem to confirm the general point that the material world emerges from other levels, therefore that there is something beyond spacetime, which might be what we call the realms of spirit. That is the sense in which I think quantum physics definitely does support a spiritual view of things. It does lead to that conclusion, if we believe the physicists' philosophical statements that I frequently quote. In that sense, and that sense alone, I believe it is accurate to say that quantum physics supports a spiritual worldview, which refutes physicalism.

That is the essence of my disagreement with Wilber. (I assume you've read my article about him.) He correctly says that quantum physics can offer no proof of the details of the realms of spirit, but ignores this general point. As a side issue, he seems to focus on religion(s) as his target, rather than the more general spirituality.

I do indeed agree with you that, having had a spiritual experience, then studying quantum physics can support such a worldview. At least that was my own route.
