I agree with your definition of an apologist and the distinction you make. I myself spend much time advocating for a position that isn't the mainstream.

I don't want to go over the same arguments again about Matthew and the dating.

It's true that the Jonah reference in Matthew may be the only extant possibility, but that doesn't mean it is the actual one. Does anyone actually believe that the Jonah story happened literally? The whale episode sounds much more like a mythical element.

The whole point of my article was to raise the possibility of the existence of texts no longer extant. The evidence may only be circumstantial, but is nevertheless quite strong.
