It all depends on what we mean by person/personal. If we agree that Consciousness is all there is, what does that mean? Does such a pure consciousness have a personality? Or is it merely aware of its own existence as pure consciousness? As I said in the article, I think of a personal God as a being one can pray to, one who gives moral injunctions, one who intervenes in history, and so on. Thus one as conceived in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Thus the real debate is whether such a being exists.
