Science and Ancient ‘Mythology’ — the Computer Simulation
There was an interesting article in New Scientist magazine recently, entitled ‘What you experience may not exist. Inside the strange truth of reality’. Its subtitle was ‘What our senses allow us to experience may not reflect what actually exists. It may be a creation of our own consciousness, or a computer simulation designed by superintelligent beings’¹.
Isn’t that interesting? That’s what ancient peoples were saying thousands of years ago — they called them ‘gods’ and ‘goddesses’, and the simulation was known as maya. It’s great to know that science is gradually catching up with the Ancient Wisdom.
