One of the reasons it's not big news is that many conventional scientists, especially in academia, dismiss ESP. So it doesn't get the attention it deserves.

On the point of 'anyone can do it' or not, I once participated in an ESP course of 9 people. I think by the end of it, although previously inexperienced, we all believed in ESP, probably what you would call telepathy or clairvoyance. There wasn't a specific remote viewing experiment.

On a follow-up course, however, we did try a remote viewing experiment, which was reasonably successful.
