Let's deal with your main point. Can I present a “workable framework” for how my 'out-of-the-box' hypotheses “account for observable phenomena, how they can be tested, and what testable observations they predict”? The answer is, probably not.

And why should I bother? I can reasonably confidently predict that you would find many faults in it, and tell me once again that everything I think is rubbish.

In any case, I do not accept your claim that I need to do so in order somehow to enhance my credibility. The world's leading physicists have been trying for years to come up with a Grand Theory of Everything, which combines General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics, both of which are perceived to be 'true' but nevertheless incompatible. As far as I'm aware, so far they have failed to achieve this. I therefore don't see why I should be expected to do something similar with the things I'm interested in.

I'm not sure exactly what it is that you're demanding, but I'll try to guess. You seem to be asking me to provide an overarching theory, a grand synthesis, to explain how all the various things I write about all fit together: quantum physics, parapsychology, animism, Jungian ideas about archetypes and the collective unconscious, synchronicities, the mysterious nature of dreams, psychedelic experiences, the Gaia hypothesis, out-of-body experiences, consciousness, the evolutionary process, other levels of reality, and perhaps more. And all this has to be done is such a manner that it conforms to the scientific method. For the reasons I gave in my previous response, I don't think that this is possible. If, however, you think that it is possible, then please go ahead and write detailed articles for the benefit of Medium readers, so that we can scrutinise and assess them. If you're not prepared to do that then, in your own words “I consider this conversation closed”.

I could go through the rest or your response point by point, but it would be a waste of time. You may not think much of the people I refer to and quote. Yet you refer me to the website of Jerry Coyne, and rationalwiki. Really????? If you're going to do that, I won't ever be able to take you seriously again. I think it would be far better for both of us if you go your way, and I'll go mine.
