It's very enigmatic, deliberately mysterious,

and you need to be prepared to wait for a long time before it all begins to unravel. Then you have to remember everything that has happened before and try to interpret it. I only got about half of it first time round, but it made sense after about 3 viewings. It's worth the effort; it's my favourite film of all time.
