It's not exactly my take. I'm merely trying to make the ideas of the relatively obscure Best to a wider audience, in order to further discussion. Of course I do have sympathy with what he is saying although, as I said, sometimes he seems to be contradicting himself.

As well as the response you refer to, Best makes much of the connection between the serpent and Kundalini.
