It's hard to imagine being a tabula rasa, but I suppose I would have to treat it as an instruction manual, just as if I were reading the Upanishads or the Tao Te Ching for the first time.

My belief system is of course based upon my life experiences. I would say the same thing about you, although I know you would say that your experience has been deeper.
