Interesting article. It's not clear to me why you assume that any simulation would be ET-generated. (I assume you mean extra-terrestrial in the conventional sense.) Are discarnate spiritual entities not a more likely hypothesis? And could your theory be just another version of what Hindus and Buddhists call maya? They see no need to invoke ET.
