Interesting. As you say, indirect. I would say that the Spirit hovering in Genesis has only a tenuous connection with the idea of three persons in one. And in any case, if two parts of the Trinity are Father and Son, doesn't logic suggest that the third person would be a Daughter? Isn't the Hebrew word for spirit, Ruach, feminine?
