If God “is in a dynamic and participatory relationship with an ongoing and emergent creation”, and if, as some scientists are now saying, information is the fundamental reality, and if various organisms are so complex that they appear designed, then presumably that fundamental information is intelligent, not something like monkeys hitting a keyboard randomly. In which case Intelligent Design becomes a meaningful concept, even if it should be understood metaphorically.
