I think that you should consider taking the analogy of the brain as a receiver more seriously. This is known as the Transmission Model, and has various advocates. It also seems to make most sense in the light of what we know. The signal that the brain receives would be consciousness itself, and may not be measurable by scientific experiment.

You also have a rather extreme definition of dualism. Where did you get that from? Why not say merely that Physics and Consciousness are of different natures, but clearly interact?
