I think that what you call morphic fields or collective mind are other, or similar, terms for what Jung calls the collective unconscious, or other ways of looking at that. Noosphere, as far as I understand it, is something that Teilhard de Chardin thought humanity, or the planet, is moving towards, not something that already exists.

I agree with you that the images cannot be neurologically based. So on the question of 'hardwired', we have to understand Jung's position, which is not clear. Sometimes he seems to be talking biologically, at other times more psychologically, i.e. not physical. There is the whole question of the term he coined 'psychoid'.
