I think it means that the word 'spirit' is meaningful to you. It often means the recognition that spirit is the ultimate reality in the universe, and spirituality therefore stands in opposition to materialism/ physicalism.

That doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get involved in wars and battles. The Bhagavad Gita would be the key text on that theme, the conversation between Arjuna and Krishna.
