I don't see what's wrong with “going psychological”. What are you saying here? That psychology and exploration of the unconscious is meaningless, wrong, a false activity? That philosophers and philosophy stand beyond such considerations? If so, then prove it. I don't accept that “going psychological” means that observations are ad hominem.

I may be talking about cosmicists, not cosmicism, but what is cosmicism other that the beliefs of cosmicists? Is there a cosmicism in the abstract independent of humans? You clearly think so from your last paragraph, but that's highly debatable. But, as you say, that may be inevitable for me. I've already written much about the concepts and arguments on their own terms, and more to follow.
