I can accept that the belief in immanence and transcendence is a bifurcation; that’s implied in the use of two separate terms. But I don’t see how that means that God is separate from the natural world. As far as I can see, that is what immanence means. Which does not deny God’s transcendence. God is both the Tao and the ten thousand things.

So we are still stuck with definitions of the terms. It all depends on how one chooses to understand them.
