I associate spiritualism more with mediums, seances and communicating with the spirits of the dead. I think what you are referring to is more usually called spirituality. Goswami doesn't hold back from that, citing Hindu, Buddhist, Sufi teaching stories, and comparing his ideas to the teachings of the Vedas and Upanishads. I say, good for him, more power to his elbow. We should we seeking a reunification of science and religion. Quantum physics, and people like Goswami are leading the way.
