Hi Margareth. I believe in synchronicity, and have many experiences of it in my own life. Your article is interesting, but the examples you give from your life could just as easily be classified as intuition, clairvoyance, predictive dreams, rather than synchronicity. An outstanding example of this, which cannot be explained by these alternatives, is the scarab beetle which you describe in the article. I’ll send an example of my own to your facebook page. This is mentioned in a talk I once gave, which also included discussion of the scarab incident, and other examples of synchronicity. The whole talk can be found on Medium at https://medium.com/@graham.pemberton/the-paranormal-as-a-force-for-positive-transformation-b77a27b7fcbe. The discussion about synchronicity, the paranormal, and Jungian psychology begins about one sixth of the way through but, given where you are coming from, you might be interested in the whole talk.

When you say ‘science’, what you really mean is the philosophy of scientific physicalism, which cannot allow, and is terrified by, the possibility of supernatural organising principles, which is what the phenomenon of synchronicity suggests.
