Hi Gerald. That was the response I was expecting. I agree with your comments about one-off events, but think that, in the case of the resurrection, a reasonably strong argument can also be made against it.

I would say that a spiritual interpretation of the resurrection merely strips it of the meaning that the Church has attached to it. Such an interpretation means that anyone is capable of achieving it, since it is an internal psychological/spiritual process.
