Thanks. The debate continues. It won’t surprise you to discover that I think that most Christians go for literal interpretations rather than the intended esoteric ones. Since it’s said so frequently in the gospels, however, I assume you would agree that Jesus spoke in parables in order to conceal his meaning, which would only be apparent to those with ears to hear.

That Craig book sounds interesting, but it’s unlikely I’ll find time to read it. I’ll try to find out something about in online.
