I didn't misunderstand your reference. I noted that you said 'existence'. It just so happened that the primary supposed reference to Jesus in Josephus also mentioned the resurrection; that's why I included it. Sorry if that wasn't clear. The Wikipedia article does indeed say that at least one is considered authentic, and I readily agreed, since I do think Jesus was the brother of James. I mentioned and discussed this a couple of times. However, if that is all that Josephus can add to the debate about the Historical Jesus, then it's not much, and doesn't add supporting evidence to the Gospel accounts of his life.
On your other points here, I did say in my personal response to your article that I was only addressing one of your sections, and further responses will follow. That is my intention, so I'm not ignoring your suggestions.
