Your piece does well in linking Biblical theism to a creator God. (As you might guess, I would prefer to call this a creative principle.)

However, I think this avoids the related issue of the Christian conception of a personal God (to whom one can pray etc). Many readers won't understand the word 'theism' in that context.

How modern science would relate to that idea is an interesting question.
