I assume nothing, I merely investigate ideas. For the purposes of my articles on this theme, I had to assume that Jesus existed. If he did not then, as you say, his assumed marriage would be simply part of that myth. The question would then be, if they were indeed married, why did the writers go to all the effort of disguising this, and not actually mentioning it in the text? This suggests to me that they were historical characters, but who knows?

I'm aware of the Mythicist literature; it's been around for a long time. I had a debate about it with Benjamin Cain some time ago, providing the evidence that Jesus was historical. I will of course read your article.
