Hi David,

I thought it was obvious that “he took one of his ribs” corresponded to “He released from his composite form one of its involutions...”

Any words that you think have been added and changed are merely attempts to get to the deeper meaning. The version I'm using sometimes has extra words in parentheses in order to achieve this.

My 'alternative' version is of course claimed to be the original Hebrew, possibly earlier than the one you are using. But who knows?
