I've had on my back-burner this theme for some time, and was contemplating writing myself. Now you've largely saved me the trouble. At least laid the groundwork for me.

You mention the words 'agnostic' and 'apathy'. But you sound as though you care a lot about this issue. You probably don't want to reveal where you stand, but it would be interesting to know.

My own thoughts would take too long in a response such as this, so I'll put them together in a separate article as soon as I can.
