I agree with you about the need for connection with, not separation from, God. True religions will be about that.

On my last discussion of the Planck quote, I would add to your quite a few eastern ''ancient religions'', Kabbalism, Gnosticism, neo-Platonism, Native American traditions, which gets us closer to 'all'.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say “pretty much all 'religions’', even 'ancient religions' have developed countless ways to promote that feeling of separateness. I assume you're referring to Christianity, Judaism and Islam. But I don't think that's true of the Eastern religions. on the contrary.
