Great article. Humanism is a nonsense. I've written quite a lot about it.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is of course inspired by Humanism. However, Hindus and Buddhists might say: “Every human being is born as a soul (or consciousness) entering a body with accumulated karma from previous incarnations”.

Christians might say: “Every human being is born as a soul entering a body where they will discover the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. Thus both are part of the experience of being human. According to Genesis, God warned us against this, so He(?) should not be blamed, as Stephen Fry does.
