Christianity, as it is often taught, has a lot to answer for, and on the whole should be rejected. What its superficial versions teach are unlikely to lead to a sense of purpose. That does not mean that its deeper levels should be rejected. Camus and existentialism are definitely not the answer. Life only appears meaningless if you have the wrong spectacles on.
