As for the stubbing the toe question, according to the Transmission Model of consciousness, which I believe is the truth, that is because the brain is an organ which limits or filters consciousness, to contain it within separate beings. That’s why you alone feel the pain. I don’t perceive that to be an argument against spirit(uality), rather for it.

Perhaps not ‘validate’ but perhaps ultimately ‘suggests’.
