Are you saying that the EU is not capitalist? While pretending to favour workers’ rights etc. they remain tied to capitalist thinking. The President, Jean-Claude Juncker, came to prominence by turning Luxembourg into a tax-haven. How socialist is that?

At least in the USA and Britain we still have the (limited) opportunity to vote out politicians we don’t like. We citizens can’t vote out those running the EU (much as we would like to).
