And it all depends on how you define ‘consciousness’, ‘do’, and ‘make’. Isn’t ‘giving rise to’ doing something in some sense?

While I find Buddhism interesting, I don’t think it’s the be-all-and-end-all in such matters. I find Hinduism, Gnosticism, and Kabbalah more appealing.
